Before you start a charging session through us, we will place an authorisation hold on your payment card. This is not a charge but is a reserved amount to ensure that your payment method is valid and that sufficient funds are available.

Once the session is complete, the authorisation hold will be adjusted to reflect the actual cost of the charging session. This usually happens within a few minutes, though it may take up to an hour.If the charging session fails to start, we release the authorisation hold within 24 hours. Your bank may take several days to update your account.

We use tiered authorisation holds based on account type:

Registered Users: £30

Non-Registered Guest Users: £60
